BTCP & BTCL Transfer Credit Guidelines for Berea School of Ministry

Requirements

  • Due to the nature of the BTCP & BTCL, individual courses cannot be transferable to a Berea course equivalence, rather the entire BTCP & BTCL program completion is taken under consideration.

  • Applicant must have completed the entire BTCP or BTCL program according to its own guidelines (p. 12, 14) and demonstrate the completion with a «10-course BTCP Certificate», «10-course BTCL certificate» or an «8-course BTCL certificate» as detailed on p. 19 of the manual.

Transferability

  • 10-course BTCP or BTCL certificate = 18 credit transfer hours to the following courses:

  • AT 101 Introduction to the Old Testament

  • NT 101 Introduction to the New Testament

  • TE 101 Christian Theology I

  • TE 102 Christian Theology I|

  • HI 301 Christian History

  • MP101 Evangelism & Discipleship

  • 8-course BTCL certificate = 15 credit transfer hours to the following courses:

  • AT 101 Introduction to the Old Testament

  • NT 101 Introduction to the New Testament

  • TE 101 Christian Theology I

  • TE 102 Christian Theology I|

  • MP101 Evangelism & Discipleship
